Apex Legends Switch News Coming Soon, says Respawn Entertainment

According to a recent YouTube video and listing on Amazon, Respawn Entertainment’s free-to-play battle game Apex Myths arrives next month on February 2nd.

While there is no official confirmation from EA just yet, the game’s director Chad Grenier has now responded to a question on Twitter – asking when the Switch version of the game will be released. Apparently, Nintendo fans can expect some news pretty quickly. Here is the full exchange:

Apex Legends was scheduled to launch on the Switch last year until Respawn decided to postpone the game in October. Grenier said this was to make sure the team did the Switch version “justice”.

There is also some news about the Japanese retail spread through GoNintendo. Surprisingly, it is full of “digital only” content and does not include a game card.

If Apex Legends arrives next week, at this point, it will perhaps be a surprise drop on the eShop. Will you be keeping an eye out for this free-to-play title when it lands? Comment below.
