Nvidia has released official information about the video card GeForce RTX 3060, The company’s newest addition to the GeForce RTX 3000 card series, which will come as the second card from the RTX 3060 family in addition to the GeForce RTX 3060Ti card, and at a very low price of $ 329.

The new RTX 3060 card will join Anvidia’s latest RTX 3000 series, replacing the RTX 3060Ti card as the cheapest model in the series. It will come with the latest Ampere core, which will come in the new model in the GA106 version, unlike the RTX 3060Ti and RTX 3070 that used the GA104 core.

While the RTX 3060 comes with a lower amount of CUDA cores compared to the RTX 3060Ti, with 3584 CUDA cores compared to 4864, the new model comes with a higher GDDR6 memory amount of 12GB compared to just 8GB on the Ti card. The base frequency of the card will stand at 1320MHz with a boost frequency of 1777MHz and a power consumption of 170W.
