Anthony Joshua got a big laugh out of Kylian Mbappe and Thierry Henry when the sports superstitions talked about Zoom.
The legend of Arsenal Henry introduced the world heavyweight boxing champion to the Paris Saint-Germain striker and they embarked on a conversation despite the language barrier.
AJ’s language joke went down well
As Mbappe responded to the call, which took place late last year, two minutes in, Henry asked him: “Can we see how your English is, Kylian?”
The 22-year-old replied: “My English is so good, you can speak it well.”
And AJ – directing Del Boy – chimed in: “My French is good too. I say, Hola, ¿cómo estás? ”
The three of them started laughing. ‘Je suis je reste,’ as Mr Trotter would say.
As the conversation continued, they discussed Kylian’s appearance on the cover of FIFA 21.
AJ is also in the game inside Volta’s football and Henry is capable of playing as an Image, although he has upset the former Arsenal and Barcelona striker by admitting that he sometimes plays as Real Madrid.
Henry asked Joshua: “Did you ever think you’d ever be in the game one day?”
Joshua replied: “Never in my life. Even though I love football – this is my first passion – I could never have imagined being in the game. ”
Mbappe concluded: “He’s crazy, a boxer in a football match.”
Today, Joshua is currently in the gym preparing for his upcoming fight with Tyson Fury, while Mbappe is one game away from the Champions League semi – final.
He got a hat-trick at the Camp Nou in the first leg of the last 16 games and PSG are in favor of going ahead at the expense of Lionel Messi and co.
Henry, meanwhile, is looking for a new job after the MLS side decided to leave Montreal.
