Anthony Joshua has explained how he bludgeoned Kubrat Pulev with “one of Floyd Mayweather’s signature moves”.
Mayweather brilliantly retired as a brilliant attendant at Joshua’s successful defense of the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight championships in December.
Joshua knocked out Pulev and then went into Mayweather at the edge of the ring, before continuing to get wisdom from the Americans with the 50-0 record back on stage off after the fight.

“This was the first time we got a chance to get fans back and Mayweather was in the stadium,” Joshua told his personal YouTube channel.
“It was an honor to receive him in the house. I have great respect for him for what he has achieved.
“He came to watch me perform and I canceled one of his favorite moves – the pull-counter.
“If you look at boxing you’ll know that’s one of Mayweather’s signature moves.”
Mayweather reported Sky Sports as he arrived for the fight: “I’m proud of Joshua. It’s one of the best heavy scenes out there.
“He won [an Olympic] gold medal, his career is going well, twice overweight champion. He is the hell of a hero.
“He’s a gentleman and I like his trade.”
Joshua had told this before Sky Sports in 2017: “Mayweather is a master of boxing. It’s amazing.”

Joshua also spoke to Tyson Fury while the negotiations for the heavyweight title were undoubtedly fighting on.
He said: “Some people may not understand it and I understand that in this life 99 per cent of the population are civilians.
“It’s my chosen job for the unregulated. It’s a sport of fighting and war.
“We are not civilians, we are heroes, and I like it.
“No matter what the tactics are, no matter what level you study, no matter how much you can hit, I’m just there to win.
“I’m there to do work, and that’s the mind of the fighter.”
