Anthony Joshua held a meeting with promoter Eddie Hearn to end Tyson Fury’s fight, with just ‘details’ to unravel for the undoubted class of the world title.

WBA, IBF and WBO overweight champions visited the head of Matchroom Boxing on Wednesday to discuss the remaining terms for his big battle against WBC-titled Fury this year.

Hearn is still exchanging papers with Bob Fury, the promoter of U.S. Fury, and remains confident that he can confirm the fight within a few weeks.

“Contracts have been back and forth,” Hearn said Sky Sports. “There are only details to be resolved on each end. We are in a good position.

“I hate to say two weeks, but two weeks (until it is announced),” Hearn said.

“We’re close to making this fight. We want to make sure the ink is dry, and then we’ll go out and finish the details of the site.

“I’m going to keep quiet right now, that may not last too long, but in the meantime work hard to end the biggest boxing battle. “
