WBO president Paco Valcarcel has already said that Joshua would have to fight against Oleksandr Usyk with a level 1 weight loss before Fury or leave the title after defeating Kubrat Pulev.

Both camps want the belts to be on the line for a chance to be the undisputed first overweight champion since Lennox Lewis in the early 2000s, but Hearn admitted that making the fight the priority and happen with or without world titles.

‘We have a fight with our hands, and sorry for the governing bodies, which are climbing all the belts,’ Hearn said.

We have to be a little cautious because you may be close to saying: “Let’s get rid of politics right now. Let’s drop all the belts because if we lose one belt, we might lose them all.”

‘You have the biggest fight in boxing in the world, You pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to each governing body. Now you have another one (Usyk) that seems to want to set aside seven figures.

‘We have to be careful because ultimately the goal of this fight was to be for the tree without a doubt.

We are trying to move forward together to tell the governing bodies that we intend to launch this fight probably in May and we would like this to be for too heavy a competition no doubt the -world.

‘There are a few things to resolve but I think we can start looking at drawing up contracts and trying to move this.’
