Another dream controversy ensued with Seth Rollins, an unexpected Superstar getting a push? (March 12, 2021)

There’s another SmackDown program in the books, and it’s no surprise that there are mixed reviews. This was the last SmackDown to Fastlane – a pay-per-view that seems like no reason at all.

While we’ll get to that later, the main focus of the show was a picture of the World Championship, ending with a contract signing the main event. Many WrestleMania attributes were also made. Here are some of the best and worst bits of SmackDown this week as we close in on the road to WrestleMania 37:

# 4. Best: Seth Rollins ’role on SmackDown

Seth Rollins has been in an interesting position on SmackDown. From then on when he returned to the Blue brand, he began a feud with Cesaro – a man with whom he had crossed paths several times in the past.

This time, however, things seem to be different. Behind the stage on SmackDown, Seth Rollins was asked about Cesaro, and closed it, seemingly ready to move on. But the moment Kayla Braxton mentioned the rematch between Cesaro and Murphy, the former Universal Champion took a lot of interest.

Seth Rollins looked on from afar, but when Cesaro Murphy hit with the swing, the first one was pushed and fired – causing disqualification. He ended the case down Cesaro, and when he went back on stage, he was confronted by Shinsuke Nakamura – a former Cesaro tag teammate.

They had a face-off before Seth Rollins left. We are interested to see where this continues. Will Cesaro and Seth Rollins face each other at Fastlane? Or will their sex continue on SmackDown to WrestleMania 37?

Or is it possible that Shinsuke Nakamura gets into the picture and gets involved in some way too? Is Murphy going to align with Seth Rollins eventually? Many questions are waiting to be answered on SmackDown in the coming weeks.
