Maccabi Tel Aviv has secured the future of one of its senior assets. Dan Glazer, The outstanding player in the Premier League last season, extended his contract at his youth club until the 2023/24 season – Maccabi officially announced. After the next three years, Maccabi Tel Aviv will have the option to extend the contract with its outstanding midfielder.

“This is a very exciting day for me,” Glazer told the official website after the signing, adding: “Since I started playing football at the age of 6 in football school I have dreamed of becoming a leading player at Maccabi Tel Aviv. I went through the entire training course the club has given me. “Magical moments. I’m sure this is just the beginning. I enjoy every moment and hope we all continue to get excited together, win titles and achieve all the goals this huge club aspires to.”

Glazer’s coach, Patrick Van Leven, Added: “Signing a home player to a contract extension in the senior team is always a good thing. Dan went the way the club put him before he became the player he is today. He has a great character and he always helps his teammates on and off the field as he progresses and develops daily.”

Glazer is a partner this season in 30 games in all settings and in total he has 112 appearances in the senior team of Maccabi Tel Aviv. To his credit, one goal in the yellow uniform, which he scored in the league game against Maccabi Netanya in May 2019. Beyond that, Glazer has 8 appearances in uniform, Israel was selected.
