T.The controversy between AstraZeneca and the European Union continues, as the president of the European Commission blamed the company for slowing the spread of the region’s slow vaccine distribution. More than a dozen countries are now refusing to use the vaccine, following reports that around 30 people developed blood clots out of 17 million who received the vaccine. Experts are still not sure the clots are linked to the vaccine, and have criticized the countries for the horrific approach, saying it could undermine efforts to fight the pandemic to conclude. The European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organization are still back on the vaccine, and some have said the ban has become more politically linked than science. Read more below.
