Alli wants a PSG move but Tottenham’s bids could reject a move

The 24-year-old has been frozen out by Jose Mourinho, starting just six full games this season

Dele Alli is hoping to complete a move to Paris Saint-Germain to re-join former manager Mauricio Pochettino, but Tottenham’s bids could rule out any possible move.

Alli was sidelined by Jose Mourinho at Tottenham this season, playing a total of just 74 minutes in the Premier League.

Mourinho recently said the 24-year-old is unhappy in north London, but declined to say whether he would stop moving away.

“The question is whether I let Dele go without getting a player in return and I’m not going to answer that,” Mourinho said.

“It’s not a question I’m comfortable answering. Of course, I would know how to respond. But I am not ready to answer. I am not ready to reveal my vision of the situation. ”

Sources have confirmed that Amas that PSG are interested in ending Alli’s nightmare under Mourinho. New Ligue 1 side Pochettino has developed a strong working relationship with Alli during his time in charge of Spurs, with the England international a key part of the team that reached the 2019 Champions League final.

Alli is also desperate for a move to the French capital, but any turnaround could be complicated by Spurs ’incomparable chairman Daniel Levy.

Levy is known as a difficult arbitrator and while he has not given PSG the real amount they have to pay for Alli, he has sent a clear message to them that he will not offer any discounts. despite the player’s lack of minutes under Mourinho.

The French club are also not interested in a loan with no purchase option, which could make any move for Alli difficult amid concerns over the Financial Opportunity Play.

Alli has a contract with Spurs through 2024.

While Alli may not move to Paris the Ligue 1 champions could see an attacker leave the club soon, with Julian Draxler set to leave this month.

The 27-year-old has made just 11 appearances for PSG this season and with his contract set to expire in June, this month is PSG’s last chance to make any money for the German international.

Draxler, however, is in no hurry to leave the club and could hold around through the end of the 2020-21 campaign.
