All new movies coming to Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Peacock And Disney + this weekend (January 8-10)

The first weekend of each month is usually the peak for streaming platforms – as was the case last week when dozens of new movies flooded the top SVOD players.

And this weekend will be big too. A total of 18 new movies will be available on Netflix

In this article, I will show a few of the most important things. Then at the end of the article, you will find a full list of all new movies, and when and where those movies will be available.

The highest events

King of Staten (HBO Max)

Judd Apatow’s latest film was one of the first major motion pictures that theaters have screened for the streaming arena in 2020 due to coronavirus infection. Staten King’s Island originally via Premium VOD back on June 12, 2020, and will now appear on HBO Max. The film will be available on the HBO stage starting on January 9th.

Own (Amazon Prime)

At the moment, films released in the year 2021 seem to be rare, however Own there is an advantage in being realized by one of the biggest streams: Amazon. It is based on a young mother who is struggling with domestic abuse and fighting back against a broken housing system, Own has won over many film critics. The film will be available for broadcast on Amazon Prime starting Jan. 8.

Charming (Netflix)

Geasach first look back in 2018 in Spain before making its way to other countries. But you could say you’re celebrating this weekend as a true “US ceremonial film”. This album brings together Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, all of whom discover that they are involved in Prince Charming. Geasach stars such as Demi Lovato, Wilmer Valderrama, Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale and Sia, and will be available for streaming on Netflix starting January 8th.

Love, Antosha (Peacock)

Peacock will be releasing five new films this weekend. But it’s the same news that was recently released (and easily the most important film on its dock) Love, Antosha. This documentary uses magazine entries and interviews with friends and family to recall the life of actor Anton Yelchin. Love Antosha it will be available for streaming on Peacock starting Jan. 8.

Horton hears who! (Disney +)

While Disney + won’t reveal any new releases this weekend, the platform features Dr. Seuss ’love creation Horton hears who! and slate. The animated feature follows an elephant named Horton who finds the tiny Who-ville village on a speck of dust. Horton hears who! it will be available for streaming on Disney + starting January 8th.
