All movies coming to Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Disney + And Peacock this weekend

Each weekend promises a bevy of new films streaming – and the next three days will be no different. There will be 22 new films to choose from on the main streaming devices between now and Sunday.

Netflix will bring ten new movies to their digital lineup, and four other streaming agencies – Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Disney + and Peacock – will add another 12 to the plate.

Here are all of these movies, and when and where they will be available to watch. I will first focus on the biggest movie coming to each platform. Then at the end of the article you will find a full list of all new movies.

Out of the Wire (Netflix)

Netflix has been hugely successful with its action movies so far. Extraction, The Old Guard and Project Energy they all became one of the top streaming films in 2020 – and now the new year continues that trend Outside the wire. This Anthony Mackie film soon takes place when a war zone pilot has to team up with a secret android officer to stop a nuclear attack.

One Night in Miami (Amazon Prime)

Amazon Prime has gone to great lengths to give black filmmakers a greater voice on their platform. Recently the streaming service appeared Love Sylvie, and now features a new film from Regina King called One night in Miami. The film is based on a debate between Malcolm X, Jim Brown, Cassius Clay and Sam Cooke at the time of the civil rights movement.

Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2 (HBO Max)

Quentin Tarantino, of course, has made several classic films over his short career. And now the filmmaker’s legendary duology—Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Kill Bill Vol. 2– made his way to HBO Max. The series focuses on a character called “The Bride” (played by Uma Thurman) who is relentless in exact revenge on the man who shot and left her dead.

Eilean nan Con (Disney +)

Wes Anderson has had a distinguished career over nearly 30 years, with films such as Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums and Grand Budapest Hotel. And in 2018, the director added his animation catalog with The Island of the Dogs. The film follows a boy who finds his lost dog in a dystopian future.

Hanna (Peacock)

Joe Wright has been highly respected for his plays, such as Atonement, Anna Karenina and Profit & bias. But back in 2011, he created a highly capable action film with Hanna. The film follows a girl named Hanna, who trained to be an elite murderer. After years of training, her father sends her away on a trip.
