Australia’s Alex de Minaur got his fourth seed of his fourth ATP Tour career title after Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan dropped two games into the first set of the final round of Wednesday’s Antalya Championship in Turkey.
Bublik’s eighth seed failed in his attempt to play through the pain after suffering a right ankle injury in his semifinal impact on Frenchman Jeremy Chardy on Tuesday.
De Minaur, who won the No. 2 seed of David Goffin of Belgium 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 on Tuesday, won the 2019 ATP Tour hard court titles at the Sydney International Championships, the Atlanta Open Trouble and Zhuhai Tournaments. The 21-year-old denied a loss in his final round of the European Open in October.
