Staring, ‘melted hugs’ and kissing for just 10 minutes: Alessandra Rampolla, a married psychologist at First Sight teaches couples how to have sex

New Married At First Sight psychologist Alessandra Rampolla kept nothing back during Monday’s program, which marked the beginning of ‘intimacy week’.

From erotic massages to ‘risqué’ bedroom games, this year’s couples were pushed to the limit as they underwent a series of intimate exercises.

In an effort to help the couple form a closer bond, Alessandra, 46, delivered her guidance in person.

To start things off, the Puerto Rican sex expert relied on twins Patrick Dwyer and Belinda Vickers with three different exercises.

Patrick, 29, and Belinda were asked to look into each other’s eyes for several minutes straight, while standing close and holding hands.

‘If you’re feeling comfortable, you can mourn each other’s throats or bumps, or whatever is comfortable, just mourn,’ she said.

But the job seemed too difficult for Belinda, 27, who had previously said she had not been in a relationship before.

‘I can see Pat’s smile on his face, he was completely opposite me,’ Belinda told delegates.

She explained that she felt ‘strange and uncomfortable’ to look into someone’s eyes.

Getting over it: The job was already awful for Belinda, who previously said she had never been in a relationship before

Not ready: Alessandra then started instructing Belinda and Patrick about their next action, the 'melted hug', which saw them push the bodies against each other.

Belinda then explained that she was not quite ready to have a physical connection with her partner.

‘I know Pat and I’m not at the same level. I mean, we only kissed on the lips for an hour or two, but I know Pat wants more, ‘she said.

‘I want you to feel like you’re melting into each other’s bodies and getting your limbs a little closer. It’s like a full body, ‘she said.

But the action proved too much for Belinda, who said: ‘I think it’s all new. I knew what I was coming up with, but it’s awful. ‘

Later in the program, Belinda and Patrick decided to take the psychologist’s advice without attending and he paid for it.
