If the family has more than one vehicle insured by AIG, the young driver will be able to use the mileage package to drive all the vehicles associated with the package, without the need for a separate package for each vehicle. For example, a young or new driver may drive the same package , Uncles, grandparents and even friends, as long as everyone is insured with AIG and attached to the package.In addition, parents can also attach two siblings, or their child’s spouse to the package and allow multiple drivers to share the same mileage package.
How It Works? The new application – AIG Just Drive, allows car insurance policyholders in AIG to purchase a mileage package and add young / new drivers and include them in the insurance coverage under the same package. The insurance coverage is activated by the app only, without physical installation of a component in the vehicle, with the young / new driver activating the insurance before the trip begins, and will stop the insurance at the end of the trip. At the end of the package, the policyholder can purchase additional kilometers through the app.
