After nine years of acquaintance: best friends have found out they are sisters

Cassandra Madison and Julia Tinotti, who knew each other while working together, became best friends and maintained an inseparable relationship for nine years. The two, who were adopted, began to get closer over the years and even used to dress the same to feel “like sisters”. What they did not know was that they really were sisters who had been separated from their biological family and lost over time. Watch the video that Cassandra uploaded to her ticketing page:

Tinotti, 31, was interviewed on the program Good Morning Amrica, and said: “We were so close to each other, we spent time together all the time and pretty soon we felt the connection we built that was completely natural.” Also, the two women have a tattoo of the Dominican Republic flag and knew they had a family in the Caribbean, so they decided to look into the connection between them. The two decided to compare their adoption documents in order to decipher whether they were sisters, but unfortunately the documents did not match.

“The documents say that we are from two different cities and that we have different family names. The name of our biological mother was also different between the documents,” Tinotti said. After the two had already given up on the dream of becoming real sisters, Madison embarked on a journey to decipher who her family members and biological parents were, which led her to meet her father who revealed a crazy secret to her – she has another sister who was adopted.

According to Madison, their biological parents have nine children, three sons and six daughters, but they made a decision to give two of their daughters up for adoption when they were babies for economic reasons. When Madison discovered the amazing detail, she decided again to try and find out if her sister might also be her best friend, and they decided to do a DNA test that unequivocally determined that both Julia and Censera were sisters as they had always believed and hoped.
