Morgan Creek – the company behind the first two films, starring Jim Carrey as the titular pet detector and Courteney Cox – has revealed that he is working on a new film in the franchise.
‘We’re excited about our licensing developments with Exorcist and franchise Ace Ventura,’ the company shared this week.

The spokesman said it was clear from the three million followers chatting on the official Facebook page for Ace Ventura that listeners are shouting for the third installment.
‘During COVID, listeners have been in love and are thrilled that beloved characters are being brought back with new stories,’ he added.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is a 1994 American comedy film starring Jim Carrey as Ace Ventura.
He is an animal finder who needs to find the dolphin mascot of the Miami Dolphins football team.
The film was directed by Tom Shadyac, who wrote the screenplay with Jack Bernstein and Carrey.
