The Israeli star is in 11th and most respectable place on the list with 264 goals in all this period, including Hapoel Tel Aviv, Palermo, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Guangzhou and PSV Eindhoven. Zahavi is above players such as Karim Benzema (259) and Romulo Lukaku (258), while in this list there are quite a few more well-known pioneers who flourished a little later than him – Harry Kane (20th place), Muhammad Salah (22nd place) and Antoine Griezmann (23rd place).
It is also worth looking at what is happening at the summit. Unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo fought for first place head to head, and eventually CR7 grabbed the top spot with one goal more than the Flea until 2021 began.
