Yossi Aboksis (Omri Stein)
Shock in Israeli football. Yossi Aboksis has resigned from Hapoel Beer Sheva and is expected to return to coach the ex – Bnei Yehuda, ONE learned tonight (Saturday) for the first time. Aboksis, who arrived in the south in January last year after a successful term in the Hatikva neighborhood, may once again train with Barak Abramov in a particularly surprising move.
As you may recall, Aboksis led Be’er Sheva with great success to the home stage of the Europa League and after a not particularly impressive opening in the Premier League, he managed to recover and lead the team back to the top of the league. The relationship with the Barkat family that may lead to a breakup was first published in ONE.
As you may recall, Bnei Yehuda has been looking for a coach for a long time after quite a few upheavals that have taken place since the beginning of the season, with the dismissal of Elisha Levy and then of Nir Berkovich. Abramov is determined to bring a coach to the lines so as not to get involved in relegation battles, and is expected to return to the club the ex who won his state cup. Aboksis is expected to sign for 3.5 years at Bnei Yehuda.
