Haredi police and residents clashed today (Monday) in Ashdod following enforcement activity against a yeshiva that operated in the third district, contrary to instructions. The police were called by the municipal inspectors who were at the scene. Police said several rioters were arrested after they rioted, blocked roads and clashed with police.

Meanwhile, 18 fines were handed out yesterday to educational institutions that acted in violation of the Corona regulations, this morning at the meeting of the Education Committee, Major General Lillian Segs, head of the security department of educational institutions at the Israel Police, said eight educational institutions in Jerusalem received fines, one in the Central District; ; One in SJ District; Four in Tel Aviv and two in the Southern District.
