During the experiment, a number of scenarios were simulated that simulate future threats that the system may face during a land and sea conflict. The Iron Dome in its new configuration will be operationally absorbed by the Air Force, and will also be integrated on Assault Ships 6 and will form a key part of the State of Israel’s economic protection capability.
The Ministry of Defense is leading the development of the Iron Dome weapon system through a wall manager in Mapat. In the terrestrial configuration, the command and control system is being developed by mPrest.
