During the day all players will be tested. The player apparently contracted while training with one of the young teams during the week. He was informed that he had been exposed to a verified patient and tested himself even though he did not develop symptoms – where he was found to be positive as well.
“The Hapoel Eilat player who returned from the training camp of the young team was discovered last night as verified by the Corona virus,” the club said. In the next few hours all staff of the team will undergo corona tests. The management of Eilat works in full coordination with the director of the Premier League and the Ministry of Health. “
The team’s last game was last Sunday against Urbani Nahariya, while the next game is scheduled to take place against Hapoel Holon this coming Saturday.
