A large fire broke out in a garage in the industrial area of ​​Sderot

A fire broke out this evening (Friday) in a garage on London Street in the industrial area of ​​Sderot. Firefighters from Ashkelon and Sderot stations who rushed to the scene identified that it was a very large fire with the involvement of oils and fuels and photovoltaic electrical systems.

Due to the intensity of the flames, the “fire blow” order and other teams from Netivot and Be’er Sheva were activated on their way to the scene.

At the event, a conference area was set up to absorb the forces that came from all over the country, the teams were divided into work sectors in order to carry out a perimeter shutdown of the compound.

Crews are still working to extinguish with the help of a crane of heights and cutting guns.

The commander of the Southern District of Fire and Rescue for Israel is present.

The incident has not yet ended but the fire has been brought under control.
