A huge comeback to Golden State against the Clippers

The Los Angeles Lakers, without the injured Anthony Davis, managed to beat Chicago 115-117, Houston walked 90-113 against the bruised Orlando, Utah outscored Milwaukee 118-113, and Lamelo defeated Lonzo in the family derby.

After absorbing 65 points in the first half, the Golden State defense worked great in the second half and got just 40. Andrew Wiggins added 16 points for winner and Eric Pascal 12. Kerry also handed out 11 assists and scored 9 threes from 14 attempts. Paul George (25 points) and Kwai Leonard (24) stood out for the loser.

LeBron James knew he would have to give extra tonight due to the absence of the injured Anthony Davis and Cantabius Caldwell-Pop, which is exactly what he did with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Zack Lavine, who was in a fantastic game for the loser with 38 points, could have won the match, but missed a critical three in the closing seconds.

Monterz Harrell added 17 points and 14 rebounds for the champion, who recorded a fifth win in six games. Dennis Schroeder also finished with 17, including a critical three-pointer in Money Time that lifted the Lakers to 107: 113. Garrett Temple further shrank to 116: 115 with 37 seconds left, but more than that the Bulls were unable to achieve.

A game that was decided at the end of the first half (33:62). Christian Wood continues his great season, equaling a career-high with 15 rebounds alongside 22 points and a sign from both sides of the court. After three quarters, when the scoreboard showed 43:81 to the Rockets, all five players went down to the bench, but the gap remained high. James Harden finished with just 15 points, but handed out 13 assists, as well as PJ Tucker scoring 15 and John Wall 14.

Orlando did not look at all like the team that started the season with a 2: 6 balance, but it has excuses: the knee injury of Merkel Poltz, who finished the season, along with the absence of Aaron Gordon, had a significant impact. Nikola Wojciech led the loser with 22 points and 12 rebounds.

The Jazz recorded a club record with 22 threes and inflicted on the Bucks a debut loss at home this season. Utah also became the first in league history to have five players score at least three threes in one game. Donovan Mitchell was fantastic with 32 points (4 of 9 for three), but not just him. Jordan Clarkson came off the bench and finished with 26 (5 of 12 for three), Boyan Bogdanovic added 20, Royce O’Neill 18 (6 of 8 for three) and Mike Conley 17 (5 of 10 for three) and 10 assists. Rudy Guber input 14 rebounds, blocked 4 times and scored 9 points. The longest streak of active player in the league (384 games) held by Joe Ingles, was stopped, after the Australian player felt Achilles tendon pain and was absent. It was the first time since December 16, 2015 that the English did not take part in an official NBA game.

Milwaukee got 35 points from Yannis Endocombo, but its men almost missed a beat after his bad fall in the third quarter. The MVP went down to the locker room grabbing the left side of his body, but immediately afterwards returned and even continued to play.

Is the former champion starting to get into things after a terrible season opener? Toronto set a regular season club record tonight with 144 points, taking all its nerves out on the Kings. The visitors were passionate with 20 threes, Fred and Anvit finished with 34 and his team stopped a streak of three losses.

Toronto loves the games against Sacramento, it was its seventh consecutive victory over the host, even though it played without Kyle Laurie, who was absent for personal reasons. Chris Bushay added 23 and 10 rebounds and Terence Davis 18. Diandra Fox scored 23 for the loser.

The bizarre moment in the game came when Jonas Valencia was forced to leave the pitch at half-time after it was revealed he must be in isolation following the league’s protocols (apparently exposed to a verified patient). By then he had scored 8 points and taken 4 rebounds in 14 minutes. In general, it was a meeting between two bruised groups. On the one hand the Grizzlies who were also missing JJ Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., and the Hunts who played without their two big stars, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Memphis trailed by 21 points in the first half, but managed to come back thanks to six players who scored in double digits, led by Dillon Brooks with 24. On the other hand, 43 points from Charis Lewart were not enough for Brooklyn.

Lamelo Ball’s knockout on his brother Lonzo. The rookie provided a great game, almost becoming the youngest player in history to score a triple-double (12 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists), while his older brother played very poorly (5 points on 2 of 8 from the field).

But the winning hero was Gordon Hayward, who scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half, returning the Hornets from an 18-point deficit to victory. Miles Bridges added 29 and Devonta Graham 17. Zion Williamson scored 26 for New Orleans.
