A funny video has caught a young girl on a farm trying to close a gate – and failing six times.
The captured video showed a nine-year-old south-east Queensland farm Charli in a cowboy hat and boots running back and forth as she tried to catch the swing gates.
Katherine Holloway, who was tapping the film, laughed as her daughter struggled to get the gates together on the cattle building and stay in Kandanga, two hours away east- north of Brisbane.
‘Every time we seemed to pull up to this particular gate she would have trouble closing, and every time she and I would be in hysterics. So one day I decided to film it, ‘said Katherine.
Charli shouted ‘no! while she was pushing one squeaky gate closed, just to go back to her before she reached the other gate.
A patient dog watched from behind the Holloways ute as Katherine encouraged her daughter by shouting ‘Push! ‘
The tired young girl went over after six attempts, but pulled her up to grab the two runaway gates on the seventh attempt.
‘Woo hoo!’ shouted Katherine.
Nine-year-old Charli tried to close the gate on her family building seven times
Campaigners on social media paid homage to Charli’s stability.
‘Very good Charli. Good to see you never gave up ‘said one of them.
Another said, ‘Exercise well for her. She just did a job .. lol ‘.
When she pushed one gate closed, the other would turn back
