A dog saved the life of a baby abandoned in the bushes

A motorcyclist, traveling in the town of Sibonga in Cebu County, Philippines, spotted a dog barking at him non-stop. Even as the rider, 36-year-old General Points Ravilla, continued to move forward, the dog continued to follow him and bark. At one point, Revila decided to go check on what the dog wanted, and began to follow the dog, which led him to a bush by the side of the road, where an abandoned baby was placed.

Police in Cebu County are currently trying to locate the baby’s parents, and a statement has even been published in the local media calling on the public to help and report any information that might help in the case. A private organization, called Stay for Dogs, later located the dog, and it turned out that it was not a stray stray dog, but an 18-month-old puppy belonging to a man named Koya Lyndon Olay.
