“I’m ready. I was ready a month ago.”

Altitude Sports was able to get the Colorado Department of Public Health to sign up to a 25% potential at the field by coming up with a plan for approval.

“We will try to spread out to try and give everyone a chance to get in here and there. We hope to be able to get in in the spring and summer hopefully we can also build capacity, ”said Matt Bell, vice president of space and space for Kroenke Sports and Entertainment.

People like Vicki will be able to get tickets before others, but the plans are still working out.

“If someone has been a member since the Avalanche started or joined the Nuggets 20 years ago I think there will be a process to resolve that,” Bell said.

The 25% capacity meant that the Ball Arena could welcome hundreds more fans, but NBA and NHL rules mean that the number of people allowed must come down.

“The leagues do not currently allow any seats behind the team benches and behind the league officials’ bench and even in some of the end zones where the ports are, where the players come from in and out, ”said Bell.

That includes Vicki.

“Just in 130 where they go into the locker room,” said Ray. “That will be terrible, I’ve never sat anywhere else.”

Over the years, she has been a popular fan in that space and stays in touch with veterans. Marcus Camby prefers. He has reached out again with kind moves, long after his days as a player with the Nuggets.

Ray knows the team needs fans.

“You can see it in the 4th quarter of most games. They are excited. ”

Discounted installments will have limited offers, each with the same to keep people from going and passing each other throughout the concourses. Tickets will be electronic and they hope to receive almost all payments electronically. =

“And as part of the digital ticket you have on your phone you have to do a health screening,” Bell said.

Admission will be transferred externally from the inside. 25% capacity meant there would be around 500 more seats than the Bell Arena could offer. Fans will be put together in the sale of each ticket. They are still working on plans, but groups will sit together, at a social distance of at least six feet apart.

“As soon as you get sets of two and rows of four and spread that across the range and a six-foot distance between each, that’s how we reached the number 4,574. ”

They hope that when the NHL and NBA open their own rules about seats near players or where they will pass the entry numbers will rise.

“There is little doubt that season ticket holders will be hoping to get their first dibbs. It starts with season ticket holders and priority groups and then some money is made available to the general public as well. “

These will be on different days, Bell explained further.

The field still needs to hire enough people. But there is excitement, even among employees.

There is a different energy in the building today and you can see that with the staff.

Vicki Ray has been going out a little. Mostly just for work and the grocery store. She has not yet received the vaccine, but is thinking about the upcoming Nuggets games.

“I’m going to be there,” said Ray.

It’s hard to doubt her.
