A 25-year-old motorcyclist slipped and was killed

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed today (Monday) after skidding on Route 431 near the Rishonim interchange. The young man was fatally wounded and was taken to Shamir-Assaf Hospital, but despite the doctors’ efforts, he was eventually pronounced dead.

The hospital said: “A motorcyclist in his 20s came to us after being fatally injured at the Rishonim interchange, during the resuscitation operations, but unfortunately after prolonged efforts by the MLRD team they were forced to determine his death.”

MDA paramedic Idan Ben Harush said: “We were during an administrative trip when we noticed a motorcycle on fire on the side of the road and next to it the motorcyclist was lying unconscious. We stopped on the side of the road and went to give him medical treatment, while at the same time extinguishing the motorcycle that caught fire with the help of the ambulance fire extinguisher. We performed medical tests on the man, he was without a pulse and without breathing. “We started performing resuscitation operations on him while reporting to the MDA center and launching an intensive care unit to the scene. After the intensive care unit arrived, we loaded it into a mobile and evacuated it to the hospital while continuing to perform resuscitation operations when its condition was critical.”
