Tonight, rescue crews were called following a report of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle on Rashbi Street in Ashdod. MDA medics and paramedics who arrived at the scene provided medical treatment and evacuated a 12-year-old boy in critical condition with a head injury to Assuta Ashdod Hospital.
Yinon Dahan, a paramedic and ambulance driver from the Rescue Union who provided him with first aid, said: “This is a pedestrian who was hit in the head as a result of a car accident. I gave him first aid and then he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.”
