Rafael Leao and Brahim Diaz enjoyed while Franck Kessie delivered the goods again while AC Milan traveled to a 2-0 victory over Torino on Saturday.

AC Milan were lost on the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who was on the bench after recovering from a calf injury. On Saturday, however, the Rossoneri their star striker was not really needed as a terrific display in the first half was enough for them to seal all three points against Torino.

The guests made a good start to the game and deserved a lead halfway through the opening period, as Rafael Leao completed a fine move that included a brilliant run by Theo Hernandez and a pass for the first time. by Brahim Diaz, who grabbed the assist. Shortly afterwards, Diaz won a penalty for AC Milan after being trapped inside a Torino box by Andrea Belotti.

Franck Kessie took the spot-kick as a result and made no mistake in finding the back of the net to make it 2-0 for the guests. Kessie had another brilliant chance to kill the game ahead at half-time but was denied by Salvatore Sirigu. The guests then went into cruise control mode in the second half with Torino taking the game to them.

Gianluigi Donnarumma pulled a late night save to keep his clean sheet, reacting brilliantly to keep out Jacopo Segre’s infamous effort. With AC Milan largely in control of the proceedings, Donnarumma had almost nothing to do on the night. He was almost a spectator in the first half, he had to make a couple of saves after the break, with the late Jacopo Segre’s dismissal having been brilliant. As he was always meticulous with the ball at his feet.

Davide Calabria: 7/10

Back in his usual post on the right back after playing in midfield last time out, Calabria have not seen as many members as Theo Hernandez on the other side. However, he was present to keep Ricardo Rodriguez out of the game, winning 4 duels. However, it was a bit of a waste in possession, although it cleared up well after moving into the middle of the park.

Simon Kjaer: 7/10

Kjaer is just growing in image at AC Milan and his performance against Turin was another step in the right direction for him. The Dane cleared everything in sight, making 7 clearances in total and winning 4 duels. However, he also took the ball away freely at times, in the same spot where he went out on Saturday.

Alessio Romagnoli: 7/10

Like his partner at the heart of AC Milan’s defense, Romagnoli was a tough buyer at the back for the Rossoneri. He handled the barrage of crosses extremely well and was mostly comfortable, keeping an eye on his number with little rest.

Theo Hernandez: 8/10

The big difference for AC Milan early in the game. Theo Hernandez won the ball and started the move for Rafael Leao’s goal, tying up Brahim Diaz brilliantly at the end of a neat run. Holding away from the left flank and it was a stable place for Milan. Very hard at the back too.

Sandro Tonali: 6/10

Back into the starting lineup after he was ruled out, Tonali was firm in his partnership with Franck Kessie for the most part. They also watched a quick transition from defense to attack, which helped AC Milan in the first half. However, he was sent off with an injury, which will be a concern for Pioli, with Ismael Bennacer already available.

Franck Kessie: 8/10

Another winning display by Kessie, who was present to turn another penalty. The Ivorian could and should have identified a brace, but it was largely rejected by Salvatore Sirigu late in the first half. Put the hard yards off the ball, though, and he made 3 important clearances.

Samu Castillejo: 6/10

At the station on the right, Castillejo was not as involved as he would have liked, although he kept things tidy when he saw the ball. The Spaniard even created a reasonable opening while boasting a solid pass rate of 86 percent. They provided good support to Calabria and Diogo Dalot in the defensive phase.

Brahim Diaz: 9/10

The one who made a big difference for AC Milan against Turin. Diaz delivered the first aid for Leao’s goal with a brilliant first-half pass before he won the penalty for the second goal. We continued to add Torino to the sword when he got the chance and sent off just one game away. Finally confirming its value.

Jens Petter Event: 6/10

With Diaz starting, Hauge was sent to the left, which reduced his effectiveness at night. The youngster barely saw the ball, attempting just 17 passes, three of which were missing. As a result, it was a relatively quiet game for Norway going forward, which will have better days ahead.

Rafael Leao: 9/10

Starting as the main attacking point once again, Leao continued with the graceful run of form, making no mistake in defeating Sirigu for the opening goal. After that, however, he was left alone for large parts of the game, although he provided a good chance for Kessie, who was denied by the Torino goalkeeper. Did his part.

Forward for the injured Tonali, Dalot settled in the right back slot, with Calabria moving into the middle of the park. Portugal’s full-back, however, struggled to cope with the steady pressure Torino created early in the second half and succumbed to some useless joke.
