With box braids, using tiny rubber bands at the bottom makes it easier to part your natural hair and help the braids stay tight. However, the famous hairdresser Annagjid “Kee” Taylor recommends jumping if you can: “Rubber bands can break and come off very quickly,” she said, especially if they are too tight on the delicate loops. .
Detecting a box without rubber bands may take a little more detail, but it’s not too difficult. As Taylor explains, “I recommend taking the braided hair and breaking it down into two pieces, one side larger than the other, tying them together, and adding base your hair. ”
Wrap the braided hair around the section of the natural hair you want to comb, and you should have three legs: the two divided sections of braided hair, and one section of your natural hair in the middle. Start bending the three legs together, weaving in more hair from the larger extension once you reach the end of your natural hair.
