Portland (16:23) – New Orleans (23:17) 124: 125

What a drama in Portland! Excellent and close game between the teams after a better first half of the Pelicans, who even went down by 14 points at the break. The second half was a stubborn battle between the sides and towards the end the victory seemed on the way to New Orleans when 5.2 seconds to the end the board still showed 121: 124 to New Orleans but then Damian Lillard Dyke twice from the line, shrank to a point and the ball was in the Pelicans’ hands. But then, Nickel Alexander-Walker lost the ball and gave a gift to Portland, Lillard was again sent to the penalty line, punctually doubled and raised the Blazers trail to a 124: 125 lead with another 1.2 seconds on the clock. Zion Williamson still tried to give victory but missed and the Pelicans lost. Lillard for his part finished with 50 points and 10 assists, scoring 18 of 18 from the penalty line (!) And the player who scored the most behind him in Portland was Gary Trent Jr. with 22. New Orleans was led by Brandon Ingram with 30, Williamson finished with 28 Lonzo Ball with 11 and 17 assists, career highs.

Boston (19:20) – Utah (10:29) 117: 109

A nice victory for the Jazz who got 21 points from Donovan Mitchell but in a fair percentage, 20 from Jordan Clarkson, who provided the same bad percentages as Mitchell, 17 from Mike Conley and 16 from Roddy Gober. Utah’s victory was achieved a lot thanks to an excellent last quarter, in which the team won 30:40 and in fact turned a slight delay into a victory by 8 points at the end. Jason Taitum led Boston with 29 points, Jaylen Brown added another 28.

Lakers (13:27) – Minnesota (21: 9) 121: 137

LeBron James with 25 points, 12 assists and 12 rebounds recorded a handsome triple double that led the champion to a smooth victory over the Timberwolves. Montreux Harle also finished with 25 points, while three different players scored 16 points each: Dennis Schroeder, Kyle Kozma and Talen Horton Tucker. Weak Minnesota was led by No. 1 pick in the last draft, Anthony Edwards, and Carl Anthony Towns who each scored 29 points.
