Washington hopes to forget this game as soon as possible. The Wizards put on their weakest game of the season tonight (Friday-Saturday), being defeated 122-95 by the Miami Heat. Danny Abdia failed to score again in double digits, and in 16 minutes scored 4 points (2 of 5 from the field), 6 rebounds, a steal and a block.

Washington opened the game with a 0: 3 advantage, and this was the last time she saw the lead. After stopping Miami on 35 points in the second half in a win 48 hours ago, the team from the capital absorbed 40 points in the first quarter and went down to the quarterfinals 40:27 behind. Am Adbayo scored 15 in the first 12 minutes, including 11 of 11 from the line.

When things are not working out for the Wizards, Scott Brooks expects miracles and wonders from Bradley Bill, but unlike previous games in which he at least provided an impressive stat line – this time the big star is completely gone. Bill scored 25+ points in each of the games this season, but tonight was stopped at 0-of-12 in the first half (equaled the worst offensive half in the NBA in the last 25 years), and Miami took advantage of that to lead 43-71 at the break.

In the Washington mess that failed to respond to Eric Spolstra’s adjustments from the last game, Danny Abdia scored a basket in the second quarter after taking Tyler Hiro for a walk, and in the third quarter added ‘Floater’ and a block on Goran Dragic who signed his game. The Israeli’s team recorded a 5:23 run in the last quarter that slightly reduced the difference, which was already 37 at the peak, but Miami did not really have cause for concern.

Bill ended up with 7 points (1 of 14 from the field). Beyond being the worst shooting evening of his career (in the rookie season he scored 1 of 11), the guard failed to score in double digits for the first time since December 2018. Russell Westbrook added 13 points, 3 assists and 6 turnovers, and Alex Lenn recorded 18 Points next to 5 blocks. Adbaio scored 21 on the other side, and Kendrick Nan led the scenes with 25. Sunday at 8pm Israel time: Washington in Charlotte and Miami in New York.
