Washington hopes to forget this game as soon as possible. The Wizards put on their weakest game of the season tonight (Friday-Saturday), being defeated 122-95 by the Miami Heat. Danny Abdia failed to score again in double digits, and in 16 minutes scored 4 points (2 of 5 from the field), 6 rebounds, a steal and a block.
Washington opened the game with a 0: 3 advantage, and this was the last time she saw the lead. After stopping Miami on 35 points in the second half in a win 48 hours ago, the team from the capital absorbed 40 points in the first quarter and went down to the quarterfinals 40:27 behind. Bill ended up with 7 points (1 of 14 from the field). Beyond being the worst shooting evening of his career (in the rookie season he scored 1 of 11), the guard failed to score in double digits for the first time since December 2018. Russell Westbrook added 13 points, 3 assists and 6 turnovers, and Alex Lenn recorded 18 Points next to 5 blocks. Adbaio scored 21 on the other side, and Kendrick Nan led the scenes with 25.
