2021 to see four eclipses of two in India News Today

Chennai: Four eclipses in 2021 will include one total solar eclipse and one total lunar eclipse but only two will be visible from India, said the Director General of the Ujjain-based Jiwaji Observatory , Dr. Rajendraprakash Gupt on Sunday. A full lunar eclipse occurs when the earth comes between the sun and the moon. He said that part of the lunar eclipse on November 19 from Arunachal Pradesh and some parts of Assam will be seen for a very short time. “At the height of this event 97.9 per cent of the moon can be seen covered by the earth’s shadow. But the last solar eclipse on December 4 in 2021 will not be seen last from India. ”He said.
