All comments received during the PanelPicker® entry time was posted online for community voting from November 10-20, 2020. The SXSW community was able to review, comment, and vote to help shape SXSW programs for 2021 SXSW Online, digital event from March 16-20, 2021.
Community votes make up 30% of the final decision plus the input of SXSW Staff (30%) and Advisory Board (40%). Together these percentages helped determine the final content line for SXSW Online’s 2021 slate of sessions hosted by PanelPicker for the Conference.
For 2021, seven conference topics take a look at the event – a new emergency; Challenging Tech’s way forward; Cultural Sustainability in the Arts; Industry Review; Changing the entertainment landscape; Connection in disconnection; and Future.
