The three models in the new series come with Samsung’s AMOLED screens from the advanced E4 series, size 6.67 inches, support a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz and a brightness of up to 1300nit, offering a display resolution of Full HD + 1080 resolution × 2400 pixels. Shiomi notes that all models in the series also support light adjustment and the color temperature of the lighting will be enabled more automatically and accurately than before thanks to the integration of a new lighting sensor capable of ranging from 8192 light levels. At the top of the display, inside a small hole in the center, is a selfie camera with a 20-megapixel sensor.

Thus the devices will come with support for Dolby Atmos technology through two speakers that work together stereophonically, with the biometric fingerprint sensor placed on top of the device frame. The three models in the Redmi K40 series also share a 4,520mAh battery capacity, with support for fast charging at 33 watts via a USB-C connection and all will come built-in with the MIUI 12 operating system and will be updated later to the recently launched MIUI 12.5 version.

The differences between the Redmi K40 models
