The game that opened the season in the Bundesliga brought together Bayern Munich and Schalke. How did it end? The Royal Blues will never forget that, with a humiliating 8: 0 defeat, which pretty much symbolizes the blues’ dismal season so far. Tonight (Sunday), the champion again met the lock of the table and this time, “satisfied” with half a dose, on the way to a light 0: 4.
Also, an extraordinary milestone was recorded when the endless Robert Lewandowski allowed his 500th career goal and thus entered a respectable list with Messi, Ronaldo and Zlatan, as the fourth active player to reach this milestone.
Without Klas Jan Huntelaar not yet included in the squad, the signing of Leo Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo would probably not save Schalke’s fate. The Blues managed to hold out until the 33rd minute, but then, Yuzua Kimich cooked for Thomas Muller the first. And what about Robert Lewandowski? By the end, the champion managed to double the result thanks to a blitz of the last minutes when Muller completed a double (89) and immediately after that, David Alaba joined the celebration as well (90). The champion is already with a gap of 7 points over Leipzig II, and Schalke? It is with only 7 points, 8 from a safe shore, on the safe way to the second division.
