Promising young midfielder Ethan Galbraith has been added to Manchester United’s Europa League squad list as they prepare for the return leg of their last-32 tie against Real Sociedad.
United comfortably won the first game against La Liga outfit 4-0 in Turin, and their progress to the next stage of the tournament seems to largely prevent a major drop.
So manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may see Thursday ‘s game at Old Trafford as an opportunity to turn around and relax some of the more tired key players.
And 19-year-old Galbraith may be one of the winners of the nod after being included on the club’s B list for the tournament.

After coming through the academy at United, Galbraith won his first game last season in a Europa League match against Astana.
He has not yet appeared in the current campaign, but that may have changed this week.
Galbraith has been a regular for the U-23 team this season, and is known to be a hotspot for the future, having already won two caps for Northern Ireland. .
And he recently signed a new three-year deal with United, which would suggest they think he could be consistent soon.
Shola Shoretire remains on the B-list after being included in the squad that traveled to Italy last week.
The 17-year-old was an unused substitute for that game but made his first game after coming on to replace Marcus Rashford late in a 3-1 Premier League win against Newcastle Sunday.
It remains to be seen what kind of team Solskjaer will face against La Real, but many expect it to be a combination of youth and experience while United look on. to do the work with very little emotion.
