Enter the interactive map: One neighborhood in Herzliya with a medium risk of infection in Corona

One neighborhood in Herzliya, Green Herzliya, is at risk 3 (out of 5) of infection in Corona. This is according to the weekly analysis of the business mapping company Points. Nine neighborhoods in the city – Yad Hatisha, Poalim, Neve Amal, Herzliya Pituach, Herzliya Hatzaira, Neve Oved, Gordon, Weizmann and Nahalat Ada and Gan Rashal – are at risk level 2. The other neighborhoods in the city are at risk level 1.

The model defines for each neighborhood its level of risk with respect to a number of parameters, such as: percentage of positive tests, active patients per ten thousand residents, growth rate in new patients, exposures, isolations and more. The model is calculated daily for each neighborhood and so trends can be seen and areas identified where an eruption is expected to occur.

“At the national level, over the past week we have witnessed an increase in morbidity, partly due to an increase in the number of tests, but not only,” explains Yafit Ben-Haim, head of consulting and analytics at Points. An increase reflected in doubling the number of active patients in the city and an increase in the positive testing rate to 1.2 percent, compared to only 0.5 percent last week. “Today, most of the city is in the 2-1 (low) risk index, but there has been an increase from last week when most of the neighborhoods were in the 1 index. In addition, it can be identified that Green Herzliya is in the medium risk index (3).”
