The Bible, the book of books, shaped the spiritual, political, and cultural image of the Jewish people. He shaped his values that have become the connecting glue throughout history. Even today, when we hear the voices of controversy, they do not challenge the connecting and sharing between us all.

Mayor of Beit Shemesh, Dr. Aliza Bloch:

Warm congratulations to the winners. Beit Shemesh is the city of the Bible and the Bible walks for it. In the 70th year of its founding, we are pleased to host the National Bible Quiz for Youth. For me all the contest participants are winners. They won by taking responsibility for the eternity of the book and within a complex year took a challenge outside of the curriculum and the system of hours and met it. These days there is a question about choice and choices these boys have chosen the Bible, studying and memorizing the Bible. It is a statement that rests on our past as a people and builds for us our future as a nation.
