Celebrity chef Shalom Kadosh (74) was attacked on Sunday at a Jerusalem gas station when he confronted a man who stole his wallet, Haaretz was reported Friday.
The old man, who was cooking for world leaders such as US President John Kennedy, US President Barak Obama and Dutch Beatrix was on his way to take part in the girl’s wedding aige.
Police are investigating the matter but the man was not found at the time of this report.
Kadosh began his career as a young chef working on ships and became the head chef of the Fattal hotel chain. He is the editor of the 1982 16-volume encyclopedia of cooking and baking and has won several awards for his long career.
