Lead Writer of both Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Black Flag has announced that he has left Ubisoft for a “new adventure.”
After a distinguished career, Valhalla Creed Assassin and Black Flagthe lead writer has left Ubisoft. The assassin’s Creed franchise has become one of the most progressive series in gaming history. Taking players from the dusty sands of Ancient Egypt AC: Where did it come from to the smoky streets of Victorian London in Syndicate, the series is as famous for its historical weight as it is for hidden blades and its directors ’desire to jump fast from dangerous heights.
The latest installment for the assassin’s Creed franchise sees players take part in Eivor during the British Viking invasions of the years 872 -878 AD. Valhalla Creed Assassin which was released in November last year and was one of the first games to be launched both on the conventional and previous generation of consoles. While the game was a bit buggy on its first release, it received praise for storytelling and a return to stealth; something many felt was lacking from before assassin’s Creed allowances.

Now it has been announced that Valhalla Creed Assassinis the lead writer, Darby McDevitt, has left Ubisoft for “embark on a new adventure. McDevitt shared the news with his Twitter followers, saying he had “a decade of working with great people, creating stories & characters for an amazing series, and interacting with our amazing fans”When he was at Ubisoft Montreal. McDevitt included a picture of his Ubisoft business cards in his post, which was followed by a spread of love and goodwill from friends and fans, including the assassin’s Creed Twitter’s own handling. Accompanying this special message of goodwill to McDevitt was a complimentary video that included some of the characters and stories that McDevitt created for the assassin’s Creed franchise, including those from Valhalla and Black Flag.

Story content to one side, Ubisoft continues to add and expand Valhalla Creed Assassin. Recently, the developer has confirmed that one – handed swords will become the legend of the Vikings, after months of online fan requests. Along with new hardware, Ubisoft has also released several pieces for the game to deal with the previously mentioned bugs and crashes that players have had.
At the moment, McDRitt seems to be enjoying a well-earned R&R, after updating his Twitter bio to “Present: Catching up on reading and writing. ”As for the assassin’s Creed franchise, it is unknown at this time what the future holds for the future. That’s not to say that many haven’t tried to guess – rumors from India, China and Japan are all “leaked” on the internet, even AC Valhalla less than a year old. Wherever, and where, the series goes from here, however, to the next assassin’s Creed There is no doubt that Chief Writer has some really great shoes to fill.
