A. Battlefield 6 the survey may give us some insight into new and returning features EA and DICE have planned for their next multiplayer shooter.
The study has revolved around the Battlefield community, by YouTuber Losing sharing some screenshots from the study itself. While some survey questions are usually “would you buy this game Y / N”, others ask for feedback on specific aspects of the game. Here are four such points from Lossy’s study:
- Free-to-play game mode
- Map update (map changing parts of its parts)
- Pass Pass (progress system to unlock cosmic content in free and prime line)
- Guild / Clan System (invite or join a group of up to 100 people to help connect and play with them through features like race chat, race challenges, Clan stats etc.)
As Lossy points out, Plafield already has a race – like system with Platoons, so this would not be very new. The biggest change would be to add a free-to-play mode, which could be a competitor to it. Call of Duty: Warzone.
Also keep in mind that this is not the same as confirming that these elements feature in the game, although EA and DICE ‘s plans appear to be well placed if Battlefield 6 is going to do its bidding. 2021 holiday release window. These survey responses could be used to help EA plan which parts of the game it should focus on promoting up to launch, or shape elements that will focus on after the game arrives.
We may not have to wait much longer to find out, as The Battlefield 6 release event is reportedly set for May.
