The Eurovision Song Contest is being held this year after it was canceled for the first time in history last year following the spread of the corona plague. Eden Elena was chosen to represent Israel at the beginning of 2020, but had to wait another year due to the cancellation of the competition – and soon she will be able to fulfill her dream and represent Israel.

At the moment, Eden Elena is in 24th place in betting out of 40 participants – and the expectation is that Israel will climb in betting in the coming days following the new version. Israel must be one of 10 countries to reach the top 10 in the first semi-final of the competition on May 18, and if it succeeds – Eden will also appear in the final of the competition on May 22.
The countries against which Israel will compete in the first semi-final on May 18:
Eurovision 2021 will be held with a limited audience, the artists will perform on stage
Recently, the European Broadcasting Union decided that the Eurovision Song Contest would be held when all the singers from all the countries came to perform on stage in the competition hall in Rotterdam – and that if the morbidity data in Europe allowed, a small audience would also be present in the hall. According to the safety protocol published by the production, fans from outside the Netherlands who wish to attend the competition will be forced to stay in isolation for 5 days before the take-off date – and present a negative corona test within 72 hours before the flight.

In addition to the fans, it was decided that all 40 artists representing the 40 participating countries would travel to the host city and perform live on stage – as was the case every year the Eurovision Song Contest was held until the virus spread in early 2020. In case the representing artist is unable to reach Rotterdam or if an artist who has arrived or any of his attendants will be found to be positive for the virus close to the time of performance.
