Razer says it plans to reuse its N95 reusable face mask. Unveiled back in January, Project Hazel includes disc active air conditioners, Chroma RGB lighting, and voice projection. The face mask is also prominent, allowing for lip reading and the ability to see face cushions when talking to people.
“We thought, this is a concept project and is this going to be relevant when vaccines and everything comes in,” Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said in an interview with Yahoo Finance. “We’re going to take it forward by implementing it and putting away the fancy mask.”

Razer’s stylish mask went on its stunning debut at CES 2021 earlier this year, with accessible and recyclable air vents and a shiny exterior shell made of recycled protective plastic- water and scratching. The air conditioners also work as voice enhancers, thanks to microphones embedded internally so you don’t feel muffled while speaking.
The Chroma RGB light allows both air conditioners to glow, and even glow a light on your mouth when it gets dark, so that other people can see you talking. It’s a sleek tech-loaded mask, but Razer maintains that it’s comfortable to wear thanks to adjustable earbuds.

Razer has not promised any sort of pricing or release date, and the company also requires licenses and certifications from the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, or Occupational Safety and Health Administration. That doesn’t stop Razer from making this stylish mask real, though.
“The Hazel Project is going to be a reality,” says Tan. “We are going to achieve it and I think we will all, unfortunately, be wearing masks for a long time to come. ”
