As you may recall, about two weeks ago, in the same case, three suspects, residents of villages in the Galilee, were arrested. It all started following a complaint filed with the police about suspected rape and sexual offenses on a minor, a special investigation team was set up in the Carmiel police, which appointed male and female investigators, in order to get to the truth as quickly as possible while keeping the victim safe.
Preliminary specifications about the incident It became clear to investigators that the minor had not known the suspects before, and the connection between them was created through an app. She was taken from her home by one of the suspects in his vehicle to the village area near Karmiel, where she was brutally raped for hours by several men.
According to the police, “During complex, operational and rapid investigative actions, using advanced technological means, the investigators were able within a few days to reach the identities of two of the suspects involved in the gang rape.”
