The Moto G60 with 6000mAh battery, 108MP camera is coming soon

Motorola earlier this month launched G10 Power and G30 smartphones. The company is now looking to expand the G series with several new phones. Already, we’ve found details about the upcoming Moto G100, G20, and G50. Now, a new leak has revealed that the company is also working on a Moto G60 handset.

The Moto G60, also coded “Hanoip”, will launch with Android 11 out of the box in Latin America and Europe, reports XDA Developers. The phone will be available in several variants with model numbers – XT2135-1, XT2135-2, and XT2147-1. A recent BIS listing also suggests that the phone is also going to India. The global and Indian versions may come with slightly different specifications, according to the Gizmcohina report.

That said, the Moto G60 will have a large 6.78-inch display with Full HD + resolution. The screen will support refresh rate up to 120Hz and will have a hole-punch cut for a 32-megapixel selfie camera. There is no brightness in whether the display will be LCD or AMOLED panel. On the back, the phone will be home to a 108-megapixel main sensor (Samsung ISOCELL HM2), a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel sensor.

The other variant, XT2147-1, is said to come with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. According to reports, Motorola will be bundling several camera features on the G60. It includes a new document scan mode, smudge detection, dual capture, and a low-light AI mode.

For performance, the Motorola Moto G60 will have a large 6,000mAh battery. It appears to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 732G processor. The handset is said to be available in several RAM and storage combinations – 4 + 64GB and 6 + 128GB.

So far, there is no word on the price of the handset. Considering the distributed specifications, the handset will focus on the budget segment. We are likely to find out more about this G-series phone in the coming days. Until then, keep an eye on it.
