Maccabi Rishon Lezion made another move with the signing of Igor Kolshov. Igor (26,1.96), a graduate of the Florida College, began his professional career in the Maccabi Rishon Lezion uniform and then moved to Hapoel Holon, from there to Nahariya last season. Igor started the current season at Onyx Kazan and is now returning to the team where he began his professional career.
Meanwhile, Rishon LeZion defeated Bnei Herzliya 84:87 in the Premier League, but not before the level of concern in the team rose after Jamil Wilson landed badly on his leg and as a result injured his knee.
The team breathed a sigh of relief today (Tuesday) after an MRI scan of the player revealed that it was only a knee injury and the team hopes that he will be able to return to the pitches as early as next week, as stated in the team announcement.
