The superlatives have long since run out, but Barcelona star Leo Messi is not amazing enough and tonight (Monday) did so once again and added a new magical moment to his never-ending repertoire when he scored a formidable goal in front of Spanish league table scorer Huesca.
The Argentine star, who equaled his Barça uniform record with his 767th appearance, just like Xavi, scored a huge goulash that gave the Catalans an important advantage when he took great control of the ball and from 17 yards sent a huge missile into the inner crossbar of Albero Fernandez and inside. Just lick your fingers.
By the way, apart from Xavi’s record of appearances he managed to equal, Messi set another tremendous record when he raised his tally this season in the Spanish league to 20 goals and thus completed a 13th consecutive season in which he scored 20 goals or more, the only one in history to reach the inconceivable milestone.
