Disneyland Paris reopens
Disneyland Paris said in a statement, “due to the current situation and travel restrictions across Europe, Disneyland Paris will not be able to reopen on April 2 as originally planned.” Initially, Disneyland had announced that it would open the park on February 13 but due to the COVID-19 virus, they were postponed until April 2. Now, they have not announced any date for to reopen but have said they hope to reopen it soon. “We hope to be able to reopen it soon, and we’ll share updates whenever we can,” he said on the homepage of her website. Retiring Disneyland employees
With all theme parks closed in California due to the COVID-19 outbreak, Disneyland had announced it will lay off more staff. It was stated recently in an official letter sent to staff by Disneyland President Ken Potrock. The work involves both hourly employees and Disneyland salaries. However, employees will be able to maintain their health insurance and other similar benefits, ANI news agency said. Speaking about their COVID-19 work, they also said that they had already taken heart action dismissing thousands of their employees. Disneyland had to lay off 28,000 employees and the Governor subsequently issued further strict instructions for coronavirus which was widely criticized by the theme park authorities.
